The Raptor model is both the most ergonomic and versatile model in the TJS range!

The TJS Pheonix was conceived to be the ultimate “Metal Machine”! A custom Explorer-style guitar featuring fully active AMG electronics with tone and power to spare. The body and neck are carved from solid African Mahogany and the 12″ radius fretboard from Indian Rosewood. A custom “Pheonix” inlay was designed for the fretboard and inlayed with faux Mother-of-pearl, along with the matching TJS headstock inlay. The inset trussrod cover, heel cap and rear access cover are all Indian Rosewood. The client selected black Gotoh hardware for the tune-o-matic bridge, stop-tailpiece, and locking tuners, and the neck is finished off with a bone nut.
